|My Opponent, Tomie Green's Record:|
1.) Rahim Williams was indicted for Armed Robbery and Armed Carjacking. Judge Green dismissed the charges. Less than a year later, Rahim Williams is charged with 3(three) counts of 1st degree murder.
2.) Green gives murder defendant $5,000.00 bond. Two female accomplices were left in jail on a $1,000,000.00 bond and a $500,000.00. bond. Willoughby is being charged with human trafficking his two female accomplices.
3.) Green gives murder defendant $5,000.00 bond. I filed a motion to increase the bond. Defendant is found guilty of murder and sentenced to life.
4.) Keith Moore was indicted for house burglary and attempted armed robbery with a terroristic enhancement for kicking in the victims front door with a weapon and robbing the home.
5.) Green gives murder defendant ROR bond. (Release on own Recognizance, which means he paid no money to be released on a murder and aggravated assault charge). She even allowed him to bypass the booking process and go home in his red murder jumpsuit; and turn the red jumpsuit in at a later date.
6.) Devon/Devan Robinson was indicted in 2014 for auto burglary as a habitual offender; Tomie Green dropped the habitual offender enhancement and gave him concurrent time to serve with his 2013 indictment. She also dismissed his 2015 indictment for house burglary. Robinson was arrested on May 31st, 2018, for capital murder.
7.) Charles Walker was indicted for armed robbery of the Outback Steakhouse on I-55 N. Green reduced the charge to accessory after the fact and sentenced him to nonadjudicated probation. (nonadjudicated probation means his record will be cleared away after successful completion of probation). Less than a month later, she ordered his probation to be unsupervised.
8.) Jake Bias pled guilty to the rape of his 3 (three) year old daughter. Bias gave his 3 year old child chlamydia and gonorrhea. The maximum sentence for this crime is life; the minimum is 20 years. Tomie Green sentenced him to 15 years to serve.
9.) Jamie Hoard had two felony indictments assigned to Tomie Green. The felony charge of possession of cocaine was dismissed by Green. She placed Hoard on nonadjudicated probation for the felony charge of auto burglary in 2017. Five (5) months later, Hoard was charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.
10.) Hamin Shaheed was found guilty of murder. The statute requires a mandatory life sentence upon conviction of murder. Tomie Green sentenced him to 20 years to serve. She was reversed by the Court of Appeals and ordered to sentence him to life.
